§ 74.02 PERMIT ISSUANCE AND REVOCATION.  
   Permits may only be issued to physically disabled persons as defined by M.S. § 169.345, Subd. 2 who have a physician's or chiropractor's statement certifying that the person is a physically disabled person within the meaning of the statute and that the person is able to safely operate a motorized cart on bike paths. Permits shall be issued by the Lakes Area Police Department for a two year period. A permit may be revoked at any time if there is evidence that the permittee cannot safely operate the motorized cart. The permit may be revoked following a hearing conducted by the Police chief or his or her designee following written notice to the permittee. The Police Chief may suspend the permit prior to the hearing if public safety would otherwise be endangered.
