   (B)   Building/Zoning Department.
      (1)   The City of Lindstrom requires building permits for most construction or alteration of buildings and their components within the city limits. These permits include building, plumbing, mechanical, fireplace, grading and excavating, impervious surface, fences, roofing, sign, pool, manufactured homes installation, demolition, siding, windows, etc.
      (2)   Apply for the following permits at the Lindstrom City Hall: irrigation meters, fences, signs, bees, chickens, impervious surface, grading/excavation/fill, ROW, building moving, dumpsters, zoning compliance, conditional use permits, interim use permits, variances, re-zoning.
      (3)   Applications for all other permits should be made at Chisago County Environmental Services: 651-213-8371. Call Chisago County for fee information.
      (4)   If permit has not been applied for, and work has begun, the penalties will be up to double the following permit fees.

      (5)   Actual costs identified in the fees will be based on rates identified in subdivision (4) above. The actual costs shall be paid by the applicant for building/development application expenses which the city incurs in regard to the review and processing of that application, and which exceeds the application fee. The city will use the escrow, when required, for the payment of actual costs. The city may request additional escrow when the escrow falls under $500.00. Such fees shall come due immediately upon notification by the city. The city may withhold any final action on a development application and/or rescind prior actions until all fees are paid in full.
   (C)   Sewer/water rates. All rates are subject to change.
