§ 50.13 UTILITY SERVICE DEPOSIT REQUIRED.
   (A)   At the time of application for utility service, the applicant shall make a security deposit in the amount as provided by the current fee schedule adopted by the city.
   (B)   The security deposit may be waived for a requesting residential applicant if the applicant presents a request of waiver and:
      (1)   The applicant has been determined to be a victim of family violence as defined in the Tex. Family Code, § 71.004 by:
         (a)   An authorized family violence center as defined in Tex. Human Resources Code, § 51.002;
         (b)   Law enforcement personnel;
         (c)   The office of the a State District Attorney or County Attorney;
         (d)   The office of the State Attorney General;
         (e)   A grantee of the Texas Equal Access to Justice Foundation; or
         (f)   By treating medical personnel.
      (2)   The applicant presents evidence of a valid, enforceable protective order within the State of Texas for family violence as defined in the Tex. Family Code, § 71.004.
