§ 36.02 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   EXEMPT AND NON-EXEMPT EMPLOYEE.
      (1)   EXEMPT. Exempt from minimum and/or overtime wage requirements as defined by the Fair Labor Standards Act and C.F.R. Title 29.
      (2)   NON-EXEMPT. All other employees.
   FULL-TIME and PART-TIME.
      (1)   REGULAR FULL-TIME EMPLOYMENT. Working 40 hours or more in a work week.
      (2)   REGULAR PART-TIME EMPLOYMENT. Working 35 hours or less in a work week.
      (3)   TEMPORARY FULL-TIME EMPLOYMENT. Working 40 hours or more in a work week for a predetermined period and not eligible for city benefits.
      (4)   TEMPORARY PART-TIME EMPLOYMENT. Working 35 hours or less in a work week for a predetermined period and not eligible for city benefits.
