§ 117.01 ADOPTION OF TEXAS FOOD ESTABLISHMENT RULES.
   (A)   City of Lindsay, Texas adopts by reference the provisions of the current rules or rules as amended by the Texas Board of Health found in Tex. Administrative Code, Title 25, Chapter 228, regarding the regulation of food establishments in this jurisdiction.
   (B)   Definitions. For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
      AUTHORIZED AGENT OR EMPLOYEE. The employees or contractors for the regulatory authority.
      FOOD ESTABLISHMENT. A food service establishment, a retail food store, a temporary food establishment, a mobile food unit, and/or a roadside food vendor.
      REGULATORY AUTHORITY. The City of Lindsay, Texas.
      STATE RULES. The state rules found at Tex. Administrative Code, Title 25, Chapter 228. These rules are also known as the Texas Food Establishment Rules.
      TEMPORARY FOOD ESTABLISHMENT. A food establishment that operates for a period of no more than 14 consecutive days in conjunction with a single event or celebration.
