§ 150.040 ADOPTED.
   (A)   There is hereby adopted by the city for the purpose of establishing rules and regulations for the construction, alteration, removal, demolition, equipment, use and occupancy, location and maintenance of buildings and structures, within the city, including permits and penalties, the 2017 edition of the National Electrical Code, as published by the National Fire Protection Association, except as it may be in conflict with the provisions of another ordinance of the city with authority to adopt policies thereto as set forth in this section and as amended in division (B) below.
   (B)   The fees for all electrical permits for new construction shall be $25 per unit for a residential permit and $50 per unit for a commercial permit or as subsequently amended by ordinance.
   (C)   The city has adopted local amendments to the National Electric Code, and the local amendments are on file in City Hall.
