(A) Expedited plat approval. When the City Engineer certifies that a tract of land which is proposed for development has access to public roadways and public utilities and where no public improvement is being dedicated and no additional significant drainage or water use issues are present, the City Council authorizes the City Engineer and City Secretary to file the plat of the described property without submission of the other requirements of the subdivision ordinance. The City Council will review to ratify such action at their next regularly scheduled meeting.
(B) Application. This section shall apply only to those tracts within the city limits that shall be approved by the City Engineer.
(C) Fees. Fees charged by the city for approval of plats under this section, including fees charged by the City Engineer, may be waived by the City Council upon a finding that such a waiver is in the best interests of the city.
