   Opportunity for the public to provide input into the preparation of the Plan was provided by the city by means of a public meeting held in the Council Chambers on November 6, 2000 at 7:00 p.m. Public notice of this meeting was provided by a paid advertisement in the Gainesville Daily Register, the newspaper of general circulation in the county.
