Only approved TCEQ licensed backflow prevention assembly testers can test backflow prevention assemblies in the city or the city’s CCN. Testers must register annually with the city, provide proof of TCEQ certification and provide proof that testing equipment is able to maintain a calibration of plus or minus 0.2 PSID accuracy and pay an annual, nonrefundable, tester registration fee.
