§ 33.08 MANUAL OF POLICE RULES AND REGULATIONS.
   (A)   The manual of police rules and regulations heretofore passed by the village board of trustees on March 10, 1986, and amended from time to time shall remain in full force and effect subject to further amendment by the village board of trustees or as provided for in division (B) of this section.
   (B)   The chief of police may request amendments to the manual of police rules and regulations by submitting the proposed amendment in writing to the village administrator for his review. The village administrator in his discretion may, in writing, approve the proposed amendment, modify the proposed amendment, or refer the amendment to the village board of trustees for its consideration and review. All amendments approved by the village administrator following this procedure are hereby adopted and incorporated in the manual of police rules and regulations as if fully set forth herein.
