§ 158.13 SANITARY SEWERS.
   (A)   Where there are public sanitary sewers in the vicinity suitable for extension to the proposed subdivision, a system of sanitary sewers with necessary manholes and lateral connections shall be installed. The sewers shall be of the size and grade as shall be approved by the Village Engineer. Manholes shall be installed at all junction points, points of change in direction or grade and at intervals of not more than 300 feet between the points. Pipe shall be designed to withstand the loads superimposed by the depth of trench and shall be of the following:
      (1)   4 inch and 6 inch house service.
         (a)   Vitrified clay extra strength ASTM C-700-71T.
         (b)   PVC gravity sewer ASTM D3034-74 (SDR 35).
      (2)   Main line sewer.
         (a)   Vitrified clay extra strength ASTM 6-700-71T with no-bel joint.
         (b)   PVC gravity sewer ASTM D3034-74 (SDR 35).
         (c)   Armco truss pipe.
         (d)   Cement asbestos gravity sewer (class based on trench load).
   (B)   All joints shall be sealed to provide a watertight joint in accordance with the State Environmental Protection Agency infiltration requirements. The design of the sanitary system will have to be approved by the Village Engineer any place in the Village, as well by all other State and local authorities concerned with sewage disposal. When the proposed subdivision's population equivalent of sewage load is added to the existing treatment plant loading this combination exceeds the design capacity of the plant, then it will be incumbent on the developer to pay his proportionate share of the cost of expansion to the plant on a direct ratio based on population equivalent loading.
