§ 158.12 WATER SUPPLY REQUIREMENTS.
   (A)   A complete water distribution system with adequate cross connections shall be installed in all the streets of the subdivision on which lots front. The water mains shall be of class 150, water pipe 6 inches internal diameter, or of a larger size as may be required for feeder mains. All pipes shall be of the following materials:
      (1)   Ductile cast iron ASA A 21.51 class III.
      (2)   PVC plastic pressure pipe class 150 (SDR 17) with saddle tap- in (cast iron) and copper tracer line.
   (B)   All joints shall be sealed watertight. Standard cast iron body, bronze mounted water gate valves with bell ends for 150 pounds working water pressure shall be installed at all junction points and at intervals of approximately 600 feet between junction points. Standard fire hydrants, as required by the board of trustees, shall be installed at intervals of 400 feet or less along the line of the water distribution system. All water pipe shall be laid at depth and grade as will provide a minimum cover for the pipe of not less than 5 feet. Further, all water system extensions shall be designed to maintain a uniform pressure of 40 pounds with the ability to deliver 750 gallons per minute from 1 hydrant with a residual pressure of 25 pounds on the system immediately adjacent to the flowing hydrant.
