(A) The economic development commission shall assist both existing and prospective industrial or commercial firms to expand, extend, locate or relocate in the village so as to coordinate and maximize business growth within the community.
(B) The commission shall cooperate with all other agencies of the village, county and state governments as well as such private organizations as will help further the goals of the commission.
(C) The commission shall render advice and recommendations to the village president and village board as it may deem appropriate or as may be requested.
(D) No member of the commission shall enter into any contractual obligation, pay bills, or solicit or collect money without approval and consent of the village president and board of trustees.
