§ 31.011 TERMINATION OF OFFICE.

Every officer of the village, upon termination of his office for any cause whatsoever, shall deliver to his successor all books and records which may be the property of the village; if no successor has been appointed within 1 week after termination of office the property shall be delivered either to the clerk or the treasurer.
