§ 95.53 FIXED RAFTS.
The term "fixed raft" includes any floating device which is designed and intended to float on the surface of water and is affixed or attempted to be affixed in any manner to the bottom of a lake so as to attempt to hold it in a certain location. No person shall construct and/or maintain a fixed raft upon any lake within the Village except if the following conditions are met:
   (A)   Fixed rafts shall not exceed 64 square feet of surface area and shall not be located in any channel area.
   (B)   Fixed rafts shall be located not more than 30 feet from the water's edge and within an area defined as between the extended lot lines (as they would project out into the lake) of the property owned by the person constructing and/or maintaining the raft.
   (C)   No more than 1 fixed raft shall be constructed and/or maintained within the area defined in division (B) of this section.
   (D)   A fixed raft may not be installed in any lake until on or after May 1 and must be removed no later than September 30.
   (E)   Fixed rafts shall not be constructed of materials which are hazardous to the environment.
   (F)   Fixed rafts shall be constantly maintained as to their location and structure so that they remain safe and are not a hazard to the environment or individuals using the lakes.
