§ 95.52 DOCKS AND PIERS.
No person shall construct and/or maintain a dock or pier upon any lake within the Village except if the following conditions are met:
   (A)   Docks and piers shall not extend out into the lake more than 15 feet from the water's edge and must be attached to the shoreline. However, 25 foot docks and piers are allowed in Lake Waterford and 24 foot docks and piers are allowed in Lake Linden on the northerly shore between Meyer's Beach and Beck's Basin. No dock or pier shall exceed in total surface area 120 square feet.
   (B)   Docks and piers shall not be wider than 4 feet.
   (C)   Docks and piers shall not be constructed or maintained on the narrow area abutting Waterford Woods unit 2, specifically on the northwest 100 feet of the rear lot line of Lot 19 and the southeast 30 feet of the rear lot line of Lot 18.
   (D)   Docks and piers shall not be constructed of materials which are hazardous to the environment.
   (E)   Docks and piers shall be constantly maintained in a manner so that they remain safe and are not hazardous to the environment or individuals using the lakes.
   (F)   Any dock or pier in existence as of November 23, 1998, which is not in compliance with division (A) or (B) of this section shall be exempt from the provisions of divisions (A) and (B) of this section until the time of its replacement.
   (G)   Dock and pier parts shall be made of nontoxic, nonpollutant materials which will not harm the environment.
