§ 92.56 FALSE ALARM.
   (A)   In the event that more than 3 false alarms shall occur at any residence or place of business within any calendar year, the owner or occupant of the residence or any other building shall pay to the Village the an amount set forth in the comprehensive fee schedule set forth in Section 12.02 of this code for each false alarm.
   The sum shall be payable to the Village upon billing therefor and shall constitute a debt due and owing to the Village for time expended by its Police Department and equipment in answering the false alarm. Any false alarm due to repair of the alarm system shall not be considered a false alarm for purposes of this Section.
   (B)   Notwithstanding Division (A) above, no residence or place of business will be held accountable in number or fine for any false alarm during the first 6 months following installation of a new alarm system. Should it be determined by the Chief of Police that a new alarm owner is abusing this exception, then in his discretion he shall have the authority to require the disconnection of the alarm system until the problem is rectified.
   (C)   The Village, by notice to the owner or occupant of any residence or any other building, may suspend or revoke the permit previously issued after holding a hearing and determining that there is good cause therefor.
