The location and number of fire appliances shall be as follows (unless other location shall be more accessible and convenient for protection against fires):
(A) Theaters:
(1) Stage. Two 1-quart chemical hand extinguishers, 1 on each side of the stage; one 21/2-gallon chemical hand extinguisher, readily accessible; one 5-gallon hand pump and 1 fire axe.
(2) Foyer. Two 1-quart chemical hand extinguishers, 1 at each end.
(3) Manager's office. One 2-gallon chemical hand extinguisher or 5-gallon hand pump.
(B) Public Buildings: Auditorium, lodge hall and hotel: 5-gallon hand pump and fire axe at or near the main entrance on the ground floor; 5-gallon hand pump at or near the foot of all basement stairways; 2 pails in boiler room unless oil burner is used, then in that case 2 1/2-gallon special hand extinguisher just outside boiler room door; 1-quart chemical hand extinguisher on stage and 1-quart chemical hand extinguisher in lobby.
(C) Churches: One 5-gallon pump at or near main entrance on ground floor; one 5-gallon hand pump and fire axe in boiler room.
(D) Schools: One 5-gallon hand pump and fire axe at or near main entrance on ground floor; same at head of each stairway; same in boiler room.
