Animals which are impounded in the village shall either be kept in an enclosure at the village or turned over to the Lake County animal warden. Any person seeking the return of an impounded animal shall pay to the village the sum of $10 per day or part of a day the animal is kept at the village, plus any food costs, veterinarian costs and charges imposed by the Lake County animal warden.
