(A) The regular meetings of the board of trustees shall be held on the second and fourth Monday of each month of the year at 7:00 p.m. and no notice of the regular meetings shall be required except for posting of the requisite notice of the holding of such meetings pursuant to the open meetings act of the state of Illinois 1 . If any regular meeting falls on a legal holiday, the meeting shall take place on the next Monday at the same hour and place. Adjourned meetings shall be held at such other times as the board may determine.
(B) The meeting place of the said board shall be at the village hall unless otherwise ordered by the board.
(C) Special meetings may be called by the village president or any 3 trustees upon at least 48 hours' notice to all members of the board of trustees and the village president. Notice of special meetings shall be as required in the open meetings act 2 .
