§ 72.17 USE OF SKATEBOARDS, ROLLER SKATES AND THE LIKE.
   (A)   No person shall operate or ride upon any skateboard, roller skates, tricycles, scooters or similar devices on the roadway or right of way of Grand Avenue, Grass Lake Road, Beck Road, Federal Parkway, Hawthorne, Sprucewood, Sand Lake Road or Lake Shore Drive at any time except while on sidewalks or except while crossing the above named roadways at crosswalks on roller skates.
   (B)   No person shall operate or ride upon any skateboard, roller skates, tricycles, scooters or similar devices on any roadway or right of way within the village between the hours of sunset and sunrise.
   (C)   Any parent, guardian, custodian or person in control or in charge of a child under the age of 16 who, after being advised by a police officer that their child has violated this section, knowingly allows said child to once again violate this section shall be accountable for the conduct of said child and subject to prosecution under this section and the penalties prescribed.
