Before the building sewer is connected at the building, the owner shall provide satisfactory proof that the inside plumbing meets the village plumbing code requirements and that roof drains and footing drains are not connected to the sanitary sewer. Where the building sewer was connected to a private septic tank and disposal field the sewer service line shall be connected in front of the septic tank and the septic tank shall be pumped out and filled with granular material.
