As of December 9, 2019, the mayor and trustees of the village of Lindenhurst shall automatically serve as trustees of the sanitary district. The mayor shall serve as president of the board of trustees of the sanitary district. The end of the term of office, resignation, removal, or replacement of any member from the village board shall be deemed to be the end of the term of office, resignation, removal, or replacement from the board of trustees of the sanitary district.
