The City Treasurer is authorized and directed to receive and collect all money payable to the city water supply system, to keep proper records thereof and currently report the same to the City Council, and to deposit, allocate, and disburse the same pursuant to the city water supply system ordinances and as, from time to time, directed by the City Council.
