§ 153.07  ACCEPTANCE OF GIFT OR GRANT.
   (A)   The Council may accept grants from the state or federal government for historic restoration purposes; it may accept public or private gifts for historic purposes; and may appoint the Historic District Commission to administer on its behalf the grants and gifts for the purposes herein provided.
   (B)   The City Treasurer shall be custodian of the funds of the Historic District Commission and authorized expenditures shall be certified to the City Manager by the Secretary or other officer designated by the Historic District Commission.
   (C)   The Commission shall annually report to the Council any money it shall receive or expend.
