For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
FIREARM. Any weapon from which a dangerous projectile may be propelled by using explosives, gas, or air as a means of propulsion. This definition includes all FIREARMS of any nature whatsoever and specifically does include BB guns and Airsoft guns.
SWITCHBLADE or SELF-OPENING KNIFE. A knife containing a blade or blades which can be opened by depressing a button, pressure on the handle, release of a spring, or other mechanical contrivance.
