§ 70.16 MOTOR VEHICLES ON PUBLIC TRAILS AND LANDS.

(A) It shall be unlawful to operate motorized vehicles on the Lincolnton Rail-Trail or any extensions or expansions of the Lincolnton Rail-Trail facility or any similar facilities constructed in the future. In addition, it shall be unlawful to operate motorized vehicles on any pedestrian trail on any public recreation lands inside the city. This section shall not apply to the periodic use of the trail by emergency and maintenance vehicles.

(B) Violation of this section shall be punishable as a misdemeanor.
