All members shall be compensated at an hourly rate as set by Council when on regular duty or emergency duty. No auxiliary police officer shall be entitled to share in the police relief and pension fund, and that such rules and regulations shall be made from time to time as prescribed by the Village Council for the unit, insofar as such rules and regulations are not in conflict with the Charter of the village, and that such rules and regulations so promulgated shall be binding on such auxiliary police officers.
