§ 33.01   COMPOSITION; SALARIES.
   (A)   The Police Department of the Village may be composed of the following officers and other members:
      (1)   A Chief.
      (2)   A Lieutenant.
      (3)   Two Sergeants.
      (4)   Corporal
      (5)   Investigator
      (6)   Police officers, including part-time police officers, the number of which shall be determined by the Chief of the Police Department and subject to the approval of the Village Manager. Provided, however, that at no time may the number of Police Officers total more than the amount of funds budgeted and appropriated for police officer salaries, wages, and associated benefits for the then current fiscal year.
   (B)   The foregoing supersedes anything to the contrary contained in this Code, manual, handbook or the like.
