(A) Any license may be refused or revoked by the Village Manager at any time for any misrepresentation of a material fact in the application; for violation of any provision of this chapter or other law or ordinance relating to the operation of the business or enterprise for which the license has been issued; or on conviction of a licensee for any federal, state, or local law or ordinance involving moral turpitude. Such refusal or revocation shall become effective on notice served on such applicant or licensee or posted on the premises affected.
(B) As a preliminary to a revocation, the Village Manager may issue an order suspending such license which shall become effective immediately on service of written notice to such licensee. Such notice shall specify the reason for suspension, and may provide conditions under which reinstatement of the license may be obtained. On compliance with such conditions within the time specified, the license may be restored.
