§ 93.56   ENFORCEMENT.
   In case of failure or refusal to comply with any resolution of Council, the work required thereby may be done at the expense of the municipality and the amount of money expended therefor shall be a valid claim against the owner, occupant, or person in charge and a lien on the land which may be enforced by suit in any court of competent jurisdiction. Proceedings under this section shall not relieve any party defendant from criminal prosecution or punishment for violation of any section of this code or any other criminal law or ordinance in force within the municipality.
