§ 90.26 UNAVOIDABLE ESCAPES.

If it is proven that an animal at large in violation of the chapter escaped from its owner or keeper without his or her knowledge or fault, the animal shall be returned to its owner or keeper upon payment of a reasonable compensation for its taking and keeping.
