There shall be a Recreation Commission of five members appointed by the Council. They shall be electors of the Municipality and shall serve for four year staggered terms. At the time of the first appointment under this Charter, three members shall be appointed for four year terms. The Recreation Commission shall act as an advisory body to the Manager/Council in the areas of maintenance and operation of playgrounds and recreational facilities and programs for the Municipality. They shall also perform such duties as outlined in the Administrative Code or other municipal ordinances. Administrative staff assistance is to be provided, when needed, through the Manager.
