The Council shall appoint the following advisory boards/commissions and such others as deemed desirable. However, no such advisory boards/commissions shall have the power of appointment of municipal employees. Members of all boards/commissions shall serve without compensation. These Boards/Commissions shall serve in an advisory capacity to the Council and will serve in accordance with ordinances thereof. The health, welfare, education and safety of the citizens of the Village of Lincoln Heights shall be of the highest priority to the members of the Boards/Commissions and all citizens of the Municipality shall be afforded access to these Boards/Commissions.
