This Charter shall be presented to the electors and voted upon at a primary election to be held on May 4, 1993. If approved by the voters, it shall go into effect immediately upon certification of its adoption by the Board of Elections of Hamilton County for purposes of authorizing the election of a Council under this Charter at the general election in November 4, 1993. For all other purposes, this Charter shall go into effect on January 1, 1994.
