Section 8.06   DUTIES OF THE PERSONNEL ADVISORY AND APPEALS BOARD.
   The Personnel Appeals Board shall hear appeals upon request of any employee in the non- exempt or exempt service, except for those identified in Sections 8.02(a), (b), (c), (e), (f) and (i), who feels aggrieved by an action of the Manager or his/her designated personnel officer, or by any department director. Actions subject to appeal include but are not limited to: (1) suspension without pay for more than three (3) work days, (2) demotion in job classification, or (3) dismissal. The Board shall also have authority to subpoena witnesses, and to require the production of records. For that purpose, Council, by ordinance, shall prescribe the process of citing witnesses, administering oaths and producing evidence, and its enforcement through the Department of Law. The judgment of the Personnel Appeals Board shall, for the purposes of the Municipality, be final.
