Each candidate may have a sponsoring committee of five (5)-qualified voters, (The Committee) whose names and addresses shall appear on each copy of the candidate's petition. Each candidate shall file a separate petition. The signature of the candidate indicating his/her acceptance of the nomination and willingness to accept office if elected shall appear on each copy of the petition. The petition may be in a number of parts, but each part shall be verified under oath by the circulator of that particular petition. All parts shall be assembled by the sponsoring Committee prior to submission to the Board of Elections.
