§ 42.13 TERM LIMITS.
   (A)   The Council has been presented with a petition for submission of proposed amendment to Charter (“Petition”) signed by 10% of the electors of the village requesting that a certain amendment to the village charter adding Section 2.15 be submitted to the electors of the village, a copy of which is attached to Resolution 2014-R-47 as Exhibit A.
   (B)   Council has reviewed the petition and finds it to be legally sufficient for purposes of submitting the proposed charter amendment to the electors of the village.
   (C)   Pursuant to Sections 8 and 9 of Article XVIII of the Ohio Constitution, Council for the village hereby submits to the electors of the village the question contained in the petition regarding a proposed charter amendment at the next regular municipal election if one shall occur not less than 60 nor more than 120 days after its passage; otherwise, said question shall be submitted to the electors of the village in a special election to be called and held within the time aforesaid.
