§ 152.083 ROAD NAMES.
   (A)   Roads in alignment with existing roads shall bear the names of those roads.
   (B)   (1)   No road names shall be used which duplicate or are alike in pronunciation with any other existing roads. Road names shall not exceed 14 characters, including spaces.
      (2)   Except as may be otherwise required, road name suffixes shall be applied as follows:
         (a)   Street: a road generally running east and west;
         (b)   Avenue: a road generally running north and south;
         (c)   Road: a road running both east and west or north and south for significant lengths; the names may only be assigned to major rights-of-way;
         (d)   Lane: a road running northeast to southwest;
         (e)   Drive: a road running northwest to southeast;
         (f)   Trail: a road which wanders in different directions;
         (g)   Circle: all cul-de-sacs;
         (h)   Court: a road with two openings which enters and exits on the same road; and
         (i)   Place: all private roads.
