§ 153.017 TENURE.
   Members of the Historic Preservation Commission shall serve overlapping terms whereby not more than three terms expire in any one year. Initially, terms may be set by the Board of Commissioners to be one year to three years in length. After 1-1-1993, all terms shall be three years in length. A member may be reappointed for a second consecutive term, but after two consecutive terms a member shall be ineligible for reappointment until one calendar year has elapsed from the date of termination of his or her second term. A member may be appointed to fulfill the unexpired portion of either a first or second term.
