In case any structure or other facility is erected, constructed, reconstructed, altered, repaired, converted, placed, or maintained or any building, structure, or land is used in violation of this subchapter, the county in which the violation occurs, or any other duly constituted authority, may institute any appropriate action or proceedings to prevent the unlawful erection, construction, reconstruction, alteration, repair, conversion, placement, maintenance, or use, to restrain, correct, or abate the violation, to prevent the occupancy or use of the facility or land, or to prevent any illegal act, conduct, business, or use in or about the premises.
