§ 52.42 WASTEWATER DISCHARGE PERMITS AND WASTEWATER CONTRIBUTION PERMITS.
   It shall be unlawful to discharge without a district permit to any natural outlet within the district, or in any area under the jurisdiction of the district, and/or to the POTW any wastewater except as authorized by the district in accordance with the provisions of this subchapter. All significant industrial users proposing to connect to or to contribute to the POTW shall obtain a wastewater discharge permit before connecting to or contributing to the POTW shall have first obtained a wastewater contribution permit. Users shall promptly notify the district at least 30 days in advance of any new introduction of wastewater constituents or any substantial change in the volume or character of the wastewater constituents being introduced into the POTW. The district may deny or condition the new introduction or change in discharge based on the information submitted in the notification or additional information as may be requested. Significant industrial users are required to notify the district immediately of any changes at its facility affecting the potential for a slug discharge.
