§ 33.017 SERVICE OF PROCESS.
   They shall have the power and authority and it shall be their duty to serve and execute warrants and other process for the summoning, apprehension and commitment of any person charged with a violation of any ordinance, code or commission of any crime, or misdemeanor, or offense against the laws of the town, the state or the United States as deemed appropriate relative to the infraction.
