Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be fined in a sum of not less than $50, or more than $500, upon said person’s first violation hereunder. Any person who shall commit a second or subsequent violation of any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be fined a sum of not less than $100, or more than $500. In addition to the aforementioned monetary penalty or as a partial waiver of that encumbrance, mandatory education on the subject of the effects of tobacco may be imposed.
