For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly requires a different meaning.
GOLF CAR. An electric or gas motor vehicle having not less than three wheels in contact with the ground and an unladen weight less than 1,600 pounds which is designed to be and is operated at not more than 25 mph.
ROADWAY. A portion of the public way that is ordinarily used for vehicular travel and is not used at any time on public ways designated for bicycles or pedestrians. However, ROADWAY, for purposes of this subchapter, shall not include state highways.
UTV. Either utility task or utility terrain vehicle. It is designed with a steering wheel and can seat two to six riders. A UTV is used for work or recreation.
