When a collection line becomes available to a property served by an individual wastewater disposal system, and upon receipt of official notice from the Town Manager to connect to the wastewater system of the town, a direct connection shall be made by master plumber to the collection line in compliance with this code and the official notice, applicable fees shall be paid and any septic tanks, cesspools and similar individual wastewater disposal systems shall be cleaned and filled with suitable material with approval of the Department of Public Health and Environment.
