Any person adversely affected by a ruling or order of the Code Official may file an appeal with the Board of Building Appeals. The appeal shall be in writing, shall state the reasons for the appeal and shall be received by the Board no later than forty-five (45) days from the date of the ruling or order of the Code Official. The Board shall hear the appeal in the manner prescribed in Chapter 1406 of these Codified Ordinances.
