1472.02   ADOPTION OF NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE.
   (A)   In order to establish standards for the basic minimum provisions considered necessary for safety in the use of electricity for light, heat, power, radio signaling and other purposes, the City hereby adopts the 2014 edition of the National Electrical Code as published by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), or the most recent edition referenced by the Residential Code of Ohio for One, Two and Three Family Dwellings, and all amendments and supplements thereto; and said Code is hereby made part of this Electrical Code and incorporated herein by reference.
   (B)   The Building Commissioner shall keep a complete copy of such Code on file for public inspection and make copies available at cost for the public with brief summaries of any amendments or deletions thereto.
