For the inspection of electrical or power installations, there shall be fees as set forth in Section 1490.01. A rough wiring inspection shall be made upon completion of rough wiring, including any basement wiring, and the installation of service equipment, switches and receptacles. After the rough wiring inspection has been made, a final inspection covering fixtures and completed installations shall be made. All installations are subject to inspection and acceptance by the Electrical Inspector. In addition to the base electric permit fee, there shall be an additional fee for the following inspection services, the amount of which shall be displayed in Section 1490.01:
(A) Electric panel/sub panel
(B) Motors one horse power and over
(C) Generators, rectifiers & transformers
(D) Temporary electric service
(E) Service release
(F) Underground conduit
(G) Special inspection fees. If more than two inspections are necessary because of faulty installation, an incorrect address or locked premises, a charge of twenty dollars ($20.00) shall be made for each additional inspection. When any person desires an inspection of an existing building, or part thereof, or other special service, the fee for such inspection or service shall be as set forth in Section 1490.01.
(H) Additional fees. All electrical or power installation fees subject to the Ohio Basic Building Code shall be increased by five percent over the fees set forth herein.
