1470.03   QUALIFICATIONS.
   (A)   The person chosen to fill the position of Electrical Inspector shall be a competent electrician and of good moral character. He shall have such executive ability as is requisite for the efficient performance of his duties and shall have a thorough knowledge of the standard materials and methods used in the installation of electrical wiring, devices, appliances and equipment.
   (B)   He shall possess a valid certified electrical safety inspector's license from the State Board of Building Standards, as authorized by Ohio R.C. 3783.03 as the same may be hereafter amended.
   (C)   He shall not perform any electrical work within the corporate limits of the City, whether for hire or otherwise, except on those properties owned by him and then only under the same conditions upon which work may be performed by a member of the general public. He shall not be employed by, or have a financial interest in the business of, any electrical contractor registered with the City or electrician who has a license to perform work within the City. He shall not be employed by any member of the Board of Examiners or the Board of Appeals, as established in Chapters 1462 and 1464, nor shall he have any interest in any business of any such person.
